Free ATS check · no account

Check your resume against the job ad.

Upload your resume and paste the job ad or its link. In about 10 seconds you see how an applicant tracking system reads your resume for that job: a score out of 100, the keywords and skills you're missing, and what to fix first.

No account, no card. Nothing is saved.

Four parts, 25 points each.

Keywords

The terms that matter most in this job ad, picked by AI with their common synonyms. Each one is looked up in your resume, and the score shows which are missing.

Skills & Experience

The skills and tools the job asks for, and how many of them your resume actually shows.

Structure

Standard section headings, experience in bullet points, bullets long enough to say something (8 words or more) and short enough to scan (35 words at most), and dates for every role.

ATS compatibility

An email and a phone number, standard date formats, and no characters that some systems misread, such as curly quotes or long dashes.

On top of the score, the AI tells you in plain words what your resume does well for this job, what it's missing and what to fix first.

From score to a tailored resume.

When you're ready, Upreer rewrites your resume in the job's words, without inventing anything, scores it again and gives you a PDF or Word file. $4.90 per tailored resume, no subscription.

Resume checker questions

Is the resume checker free?
Yes. Scoring needs no account and no card. Without an account you can score up to 5 resumes a day; with a free account, as often as you like.
What is an ATS?
An applicant tracking system: the software employers use to collect applications and search them. Recruiters often search it by keyword, so a resume that uses the job's words and a clean structure is easier to find.
Why do I need the job ad?
Because a resume isn't good or bad in general: it fits a job or it doesn't. The same resume scores differently for two jobs, so the checker always scores it for the one you're applying to. Paste the job ad's text, or its link and we read the page.
Do you keep my resume?
Not here: the checker reads your file, scores it and saves nothing. Your resume and the job ad are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be scored; Anthropic does not train its models on API data. If you continue to the dashboard, they come with you from your browser.
Which files can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx) or plain text, up to 4 MB. A scanned resume (a picture of the page) has no text to read: paste the text instead.
Why can my score change a little between two checks?
The job's key terms are picked by AI, so two checks can differ by a few points. The structure and compatibility checks are fixed rules and don't change.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No. It means a system, and a recruiter skimming your resume, will find what the job asks for. Your experience still decides the rest.
